Superior Formulas needed a versatile library of photo and video content that could support both social media marketing and product detail pages across Amazon and their website. The challenge was to create aspirational lifestyle content that showed how the brand's supplements could naturally integrate into an already healthy lifestyle while also clearly communicating the science and ingredients behind each product.
As Writer, Producer, Director, and Art Director, I helped develop the creative approach from concept through final delivery. A key consideration was finding the right balance between lifestyle storytelling and product education, creating work that felt visually engaging and authentic while still giving the audience a clear understanding of what made each supplement unique.
During pre-production, I sourced locations and talent and developed a cohesive visual approach for each product. Wardrobe, props, environments, and styling were carefully selected to reflect the unique branding, ingredients, and intended lifestyle associated with each supplement.
The project ultimately evolved into a broader content system with multiple creative applications. In addition to lifestyle-focused videos and photography, we developed dedicated product content that highlighted ingredients and the science behind each formula. After seeing the strength of the ingredient photography, I identified an opportunity to extend those visual setups into motion, capturing video of the compositions and developing additional promotional assets for product detail pages and social channels.
I also led the projects through post-production, editing the final videos and helping guide the animation and motion graphics to ensure the visual language remained cohesive across formats. The result was a flexible library of lifestyle, product, and educational content that gave Superior Formulas multiple ways to communicate with customers across social, e-commerce, and web platforms.
